Where the Boys Are
Back in 1971, the state Board of Regents granted permission for Nazareth to drop a charter provision restricting enrollment to women students. 鈥淏ut there is no thought given to going coed,鈥� a college spokesman told the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle at the time. Just two years later鈥攆orty years ago this fall鈥攖he College admitted its first full-time male students.
