Graduate Student Professional Development Award

The Office of Research, Scholarship, and Innovation provides reimbursements on a first-come-first-served basis for Nazareth graduate students to present scholarly or creative work; to attend regional, national, or international conferences; to compete academically; or to accept an award.

Award amounts vary from $150 to $600 depending on a variety of factors, including where the event takes place, whether or not you are presenting, and how many others from your program are also planning to attend.

How does this award work?

Here is a general overview of the application and reimbursement process:

  1. Make sure you are
  2. Gather all of the
  3. Submit your application by the 14th of the month before you plan to travel
  4. Receive award letter via email
    • Be sure you follow our instructions for paying and saving your receipts!!
  5. Travel
  6. Submit your within 10 days of your return
