Kevin Cody Hunt 鈥�16 has a unique double major in mathematics and theatre arts, which he explains logically as 鈥渇ulfilling me on both sides, the left brain and the right brain.鈥� Here he answers both deep and not-so-deep questions about himself 鈥� and reveals his inner performer.
What would be your ideal job?
I鈥檇 like to act in every medium and genre possible: stage, television, film, experimental stuff, etc.
What about you would surprise people the most?
I鈥檝e never seen Lord of the Rings. Everyone who knows me equates me with fantasy and superheroes and stuff like that, but I鈥檝e never had the chance to watch those movies.
What trait do you most like about yourself?
My ambition and my ability to listen.
What trait do you least like about yourself?
My tendency to set standards too high for myself.
When and聽where were聽you happiest?
The American College聽Theater Festival at West Chester University in January 2014. I was in a completely different environment where I was surrounded by a bunch of performers and finally felt, concretely, like I knew what I wanted to do with my life. It was where I really started to get my confidence as a performer, and I feel like it was the first chapter in the current stage of life that I鈥檓 in.
What do you regard as the lowest depths of misery?
An inability to reach out for help because you assume that anyone who does take your hand isn鈥檛 going to do so with genuine intent (which is totally delusional, but I guess that鈥檚 why it鈥檚 so miserable).
In the movie聽of your life,聽who would聽star as you?
Dane DeHaan.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I wouldn鈥檛 complain if I were a better dancer. Being more coordinated sounds like fun.
What鈥檚 your favorite meal and why?
Chicken Parmigianino. I only get the chance to have it once in a while, and it reminds me of my family.
Who is your favorite fictional character?
This is literally the hardest question on here for me to answer. Either Iago from Othello or Luffy from this cartoon called One Piece that I was obsessed with as a kid.
