Yoga Programs Earn National Recognition
NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, recently awarded the Center for Spirituality鈥檚 Yoga Revolution on Campus program a 2014-2015 Excellence Award in the broad category of International, Multicultural, Cultural, LGBTQ, Spirituality, Disability, and Related. NASPA Excellence Awards recognize the outstanding contributions of institutions that are transforming higher education through exceptional programs, innovative services, and effective administration.
Nazareth鈥檚 yoga leaders were also invited to present at the national Yoga Service Conference (YSC) at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, N.Y., last May. Scholarship awards from the YSC board members enabled additional students to attend.
