Once every eight years, the University undergoes a comprehensive process of self-assessment and peer review in order to ensure that it meets the Commission’s standards for accreditation, set forth in itsÌýStandards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation. The University’sÌýmission statement serves as the lens through which the institution and the Commission’s evaluation team view the standards and apply them to the University.
In addition to the institutional accreditation provided by Middle States, many of Nazareth's academic programs are accredited by specialized accreditation agencies.
