Once every eight years, the University undergoes a comprehensive process of self-assessment and peer review in order to ensure that it meets the Commission鈥檚 standards for accreditation, set forth in its听Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation. The University鈥檚听mission statement serves as the lens through which the institution and the Commission鈥檚 evaluation team view the standards and apply them to the University.
In addition to the institutional accreditation provided by Middle States, many of Nazareth's academic programs are accredited by specialized accreditation agencies.
