Django Klumpp is a versatile musician with expertise in classical guitar. At 夜色视频, he teaches applied guitar lessons, group guitar methods, and advanced guitar courses. He completed a masters degree in performance and literature from Eastman School of Music under instruction by Dr. Nicholas Goluses, and holds two bachelor degrees from Mansfield University in both music performance and music technology, where he studied under guitarist Dr. Eric Carlin.
Django is an experienced performer, having performed multiple public solo recitals, chamber ensemble showcases, and concert presentations with an orchestra. He was awarded a Performer鈥檚 Certificate in Guitar from Eastman School of Music, and at Mansfield was chosen as one of the winners of Mansfield University鈥檚 Student Solo Competition in both 2017 and 2019, where he performed Joaquin Rodrigo鈥檚 Fantasia para un gentilhombre, and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco鈥檚 Concerto No. 1 with the Mansfield University Symphony Orchestra. Django also performs as one-half of the 鈥淪ilverwood Duo,鈥 a flute and guitar duo with flutist Eric Bergemann.
Django is an avid teacher, having taught general strings through Mansfield鈥檚 community strings group, 鈥淪trings Project,鈥 as well as teaching locally in the Rochester area at Penfield Guitar School, and Aria鈥檚 School of Music and Art. He was brought on as faculty at 夜色视频 shortly after completing his masters degree.
