Grants

Graduate assistantship: can cover 1.5 to 4.5 credits per semester
Veteran/military benefits聽may cover some or all of this degree for you or your spouse or dependent.

Loan

Federal direct unsubsidized loan: Up to $20,500 per academic year
International students: Most foreign citizens are not eligible for federal student aid from the U.S. Department of Education, but there are some exceptions. See . Also, check with your country's government about aid it may offer.

Options for managing U.S. loans

: You may qualify for a lower monthly payment based on your income and family size through options on that federal student aid webpage. One plan 鈥� Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) 鈥� is open to anyone with Direct Subsidized and/or Direct Unsubsidized Loans (regardless of income level) and can bring monthly payments down to $0.
: New York state residents pay only 10% of discretionary income for 2 years, if you qualify.

Adjusted payment schedules

If your employer reimburses part of your tuition, Nazareth's Employer Sponsored Tuition Plan (ESTP) enables you to delay tuition payment until the end of the semester.
Payment plans provide a way to spread out the cost. Nazareth's Student Accounts office provides details.

Grants and assistantships are limited and competitive and require separate applications.
Aid cannot exceed total cost.
