"I was looking for professors who were passionate about assisting me to reach the next level as an effective early childhood educator. I was looking for fellow students who, like myself, were eager to make a difference. I was looking for a close-knit community, and Nazareth made me feel welcomed and included 鈥 exactly how I want my students to feel. I definitely got an incredible value for my investment. Nazareth professors equipped me with the skills to excel as a teacher. Classes on child development, learner characteristics, differentiated instruction, culturally responsive teaching, and special education prepared me to teach all learners. Now I have the power to change lives and ignite a passion for lifelong learning, cultivating an environment where children feel valued and can engage in fun, relevant learning activities to thrive."

"While I consider myself lucky to have been hired straight out of graduate school, it was my education through Nazareth, not luck, which provided me with the up-to-date knowledge of current best practices and the tools I needed to be successful in the application and interview processes. Though every day still brings new challenges, the foundation and hands-on experience I received from my coursework has allowed me to face these challenges with confidence. The only part of teaching I wasn't prepared for was just how much I would love what I get to do every day."
