This newer ceremony after new-student Convocation marks students' first night as a Golden Flyer. Gathering by the fountain, students reflect on their role in living out the legacy of Nazareth's founders on our campus and throughout the world.
What’s happening?
Nazareth's Golisano Training Center (GTC) on campus enables a unique partnership with Special Olympics.
Occupational therapy and physical therapy students worked with Special Olympics athletes on fitness screenings and wellness stations, a win-win experience, during a fall 2021 bocce competition at GTC.
Nazareth began construction on a major library renovation that was co-designed by students to enhance their overall campus experience. President Beth Paul ceremonially started the renovation work at the Lorette Wilmot Library on May 5, 2023, with a ceremonial first swing of a purple and gold sledgehammer.
Fitness facilities on campus — such as the fitness center in Golisano Training Center, shown — are open to students, faculty, and staff. GTC also includes a turf field, track, group exercise room, multipurpose courts (for basketball, volleyball, tennis, and more), and equipment available for loan.
